AKWAABA! Welcome to LCS for our 2024-25 school year! To those families returning to LCS, I hope you have all had a wonderful break, enjoying time together. To those who are new to LCS, a special welcome from myself to Lincoln Community School. I just know that you are going to love being part of the LCS family.

I was so excited to welcome all of our students to the campus on Monday 14 August for the beginning of our school year. We also welcomed over 100 new students and their families to an orientation morning the day before the first day of school.

We recently welcomed our 17 new teaching staff and then all of our returning staff were at school preparing for the year ahead. I often say that the strength of a school comes from the people who work within it and I am very proud of the team that we have here at Lincoln Community School. They are diverse, coming from 14 different countries and backgrounds. They are all here because they want to do their very best for your children.

We will be implementing the second year of the school’s strategic plan this year and our focus areas (our big rocks) will continue to be AGENCY, SERVICE and BELONGING. We remain committed to realizing the school’s vision:- “We are going to be the most exciting learning environment in Africa, where learning is challenging and joyful, designed by students and teachers together.”

This year, we have made a change in the provision of food services, in that we have engaged a new contractor. I am pleased to introduce “Cuisine by Paloma” as LCS’s new food services provider. Please note that there will be further communications regarding a new ordering and payment system that parents will need to sign up for in order to pre-order lunch for their children.
